The launch of iPhone 3G was one of the "clumsiest product launches ever." People were excited about it all over the world - but it turned out to be the iPocalypse. Lines came to a standstill and phones new and old turned into bricks. I bet the competition is pleased.

On Friday night, new BFF's Microsoft and Carl Icahn made yet another proposal to Yahoo. Their plan was basically to dump Jerry Yang and the Board and break up the company. Yahoo's board met on Saturday and - surprise, surprise - turned down this fabulous offer.

Kara Swisher at Boomtown was first to report that the U.K.'s Guardian Media Group has snapped up the giant tech news blog Paid Content dot org for something in the thirty million dollar range. Read Write Web thinks it's a good sign.

YouTube tried to kill the phenomenon known as RickRolling - but it appears that their April Fool's Day prank only made the meme stronger. Check this out, it's amazing!

Homer's email address was hacked! If you're a hard core Simpsons fan and have him as an AIM buddy - don't click on anything that address sends you.
